Delicious Home Made Donuts-

6 egg yolks
1 tsp salt
¾ cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
4 cups hot water

Combine and mix
Then add 4 cups flour and beat
Add 2 tbsp self rising yeast and 4 more cups of flour – then beat
Add more flour as needed (likely 2 cups)

Beat for three minutes
Grease big bowl
Dump dough in bowl
Cover and let rise for 1 hour
Lightly flour counter and then roll out
Roll out ½ inch thick – cut to shape

Put on cookie sheets with parchment paper on it
Let rise til double in size (20-40 minnutes)

Then deep fry in oil til brown on both sides

Gently boil 1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
Mix and dissolve and gently boil for 2 minutes while stirring
Cool glaze for about 10-15 minutes
Add 2 cups icing sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp salt – mix all together
Will be quite runny – add more icing sugar to thicken

Drop donuts one at a time into glaze
Put on cooling rack (glaze will drip off)

Make up to 66 donuts
